with baskets of colored gladioli.
The bride, given in marriage by Robert
Holt, wore a white floor length dress, accented by a fitted bodice
and a ruffled neckline. Her heart shaped bridal bouquet
consisted of red roses and white carnations. She wore a pearl
and sequin studded headpiece.
Miss Beverly Meissner served as maid of
honor. Bridesmaids were Betty Meissner, Joan Holt, Marlene
Anderegg and Loretta Lewis. The attendants carried white fans with
white ‘mums and pink roses.
The groom, son of Mr. and Mrs. Ed
Garbisch of Granton, asked Orville Garbisch to be his best man.
Groomsmen were Roland Helm, Harold Holt, Gary Kuechenmeister and
Donald Krause. Robert Holt and Roger Helm ushered.
Mrs. Schreiber, at the organ, accompanied
Ronald Gluch, Jr., as he sang "O Perfect Love," and "The
Lord’s Prayer."
A reception for 200 guests, held at the
Granton village hall, was followed by a dance in the
evening.
