Zahradka, Rosa Lee (Marriage - 23 August
1958)
In a double ring ceremony performed
Saturday at 9:30 a.m., by the Rev. Joseph Eisenmann at St.
Mary’s Catholic Church in Neillsville, Miss Rosa Lee Zahradka
of Granton became the bride of James Albert Wunsch of
Marshfield.
Mother of the bride is Mrs. Anna M.
Zahradka of Granton and the groom’s parents are Mr. and Mrs.
Elmer Wunsch of Marshfield.
The bride, given in marriage by her
brother, Michael Zahradka, wore a floor-length gown of nylon
crystalline over white satin, with a fitted bodice. The
portrait neckline was trimmed with sequins. A fingertip veil fell
from a crown of sequins and pearls. She carried a whie orchid
on a prayer book, with white streamers entwined with red rose
buds.
Miss Barbara Zahradka was maid of honor
for her sister. A friend, Miss Marie Hoeft, served as
bridesmaid.
The groom was attended by Bernard Ehlers
of Marshfield, as best man. Groomsman was Peter Fisher. Paul
Wunsch and William Zahradka ushered.
A dinner for the immediate families was
served at the American Legion Hall in Neillsville, followed by a
reception for 200 guests.
On their return from a wedding trip to the Black Hills they will reside in Milwaukee, where the bride is employed. The groom is also employed there. Both are graduates of Columbus High School, Marshfield.
