Walters, Mrs. Nettie (18 Aug 1884 - 19
Mar1912)
Mrs. Nettie Walters died at St. Joseph
hospital at Ashland, Wis., Tuesday, March 19, after an illness of
14 weeks with typhoid fever, and when complication of diseases set
in which caused her death. She was born Aug. 18, 1884, in
Pine Valley, Clark Co., Wis., and was married to Mr. Walters of
Black River Falls Feb. 28th, 1900. She was a woman
of good character and principles, a good mother and neighbor.
She made many friends wherever she went, always pleasant and a
patient sufferer to the last hours. She was a member of the
M.E. church of Westboro, Wis., and had been a member of the Woodman
circle about four years, up to the time of her illness. She
leaves to deeply mourn her loss, her husband and son, Richard, 10
years old, her mother, four brothers and four sisters, all of whom
were present at the funeral except Mrs. E. Huffet, Mrs. M. Hafoel
and brother Wm. Green, who could not be present. She was
buried at Dells Dam cemetery near her mother’s
home.
The family are deeply grateful for the many neighborly kindnesses extended to them in their sorrow and the beautiful music rendered by the choir at the last sad rites.
