Ames, Claribelle (Apr 1912)
Miss Claribelle Ames of Grand Rapids and
Mr. Arthur Podawiltz of Eau Claire were married last week at the
home of the bride’s parents in Grand Rapids.
Misses Pauline Harrington and Mildred
McReynolds acted as ribbon girls, there being no other
attendants. The bride was attired in a French whipcord suit
and lace bonnet.
After the ceremony a four course luncheon
was served and the happy young couple left on the noon train on a
wedding tour, after which they will make their home at Eau
Clair.
Both of the contracting parties are well known in this city, the bride being the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. E. Ames, and is a most estimable young lady, while the groom has made his home in Grand Rapids until he went to Eau Claire about a year ago to engage in the automobile business.
