Underhill, Gloria (16 JUNE 1947)
Miss Gloria Underhill, daughter of Leonard Underhill and the late Mrs. Underhill, was married at 8 p.m. on Monday, June 16, to Eugene C. Bardell, son of Mr. and Mrs. Clinton Bardell of Highland City, Fla., formerly of greenwood.
The marriage service was read by the Rev. J. M. Parrish, pastor of the Main Street Baptist church, at the home of the bride’s grandmother, Mrs. C. H. Young, in Lakeland, Fla.
The bride was attended by her sister, Miss Faye Underhill, who was dressed in pink crepe and wore white accessories and a white carnation corsage.
Mrs. Bardell chose for her wedding dress a pink and blue rayon, with which she used white accessories and a white carnation bouquet.
Dick Crotsenberg of Lakeland was best man.
The groom was graduated from the Loyal high school with the class of 1944, and served 1 ½ years in the armed forces.
The young couple will live at 720 East Peachtree, Lakeland, Fla., while the bridegroom attends the Lakeland Business Institute.
The Loyal Tribune extends to the young couple its wishes for happiness.
