Neillsville Business and Professional
Women (1958)
The Neillsville Business &
Professional Women’s Club held the November meeting at
Calvary Lutheran Church Monday evening, with 32 members and guests
present.
Mrs. Erma Romanik, Milwaukee, spoke on,
"The Place of Women in the Business & Professional
World."
Miss Gretchen Hauser of the Winnebago
Children’s home staff presented a Thanksgiving reading; Mrs.
Ione Bruhn gave a resume of a small business clinic to be held
November 22-23 at Milwaukee; and two Thanksgiving hymns were sung
by a quartet consisting of Dr. Sarah Rosekrans, Virginia Gassen,
Alice Behrens and Edna Russell.
The club voted to again sponsor the
Senior Girl Scouts in Neillsville and voted $5 to the swimming pool
committee to assist in paying for treats given children who took
part in a recent parade.
Following the meeting, the club members were invited to the home of Dr. Sarah Rosekrans for coffee and a "mixer."
