Ross, Emma (1886? - 13 AUG 1955)
At two o’clock yesterday afternoon funeral services for Emma Ross, 69, were conducted from St. John’s Lutheran Church, Withee. Rev. Theo C. Predoehl officiated at the service.
Serving as pallbearers were Walter Heideman, Art and Walter Petke, Adolph Cizek, Stephen Quist and Pete Steager.
In charge of the floral offerings were Vonnie Petke, Mary Lou Petke, Shirley Sberling and Mabel Whittemore.
Years ago Mrs. August Ross and her family were residents of this community (Withee, Clark Co., Wis.), but for the most part of her life had lived in Chicago. Early this summer she had returned to this community to reside. She was taken seriously ill about a month ago and passed away on Saturday, Aug. 13, 1955, at Victory Memorial Hospital at Stanley.
