Oratorical Awards (Apr 27, 1912)

Last Saturday evening, Misses Clara Korman and Leona Albright and Leland Forman and Maurel Rabenstein represented the Neillsville high school at the league oratorical contest at Marshfield.  Three schools were represented, Neillsville, Marshfield and Unity.  It is pleasing to note that the Neillsville young people brought home most of the honors of the contest, Leland Forman winning first place in the boys’ contest and Maurel Rabenstein second; Miss Albright winning first place in the girls’ contest and Miss Korman third.  Leland Forman delivered :The American Infamy", Maurel Rabenstein "Idols and Ideals", Miss Albright, "Patsy" and Miss Korman "Old Mistis."
