Pettis, Sylvia (Marriage - 6 December 1958) 
 

Nuptial vows were exchanged Saturday by Miss Sylvia Pettis, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Floyd Pettis of Fairchild, and Randall Bertrang, son of Mr. and Mrs. Orville Bertrang, Rt. 3, Neillsville.  The double ring ceremony was performed at 7 p.m. in the Zion Lutheran Church of Pine Valley by the Rev. Marvin Beninga, pastor. 
 

The bride asked her roommate, Miss Kathie Heizer of Chatfield, Minn., to be her bridesmaid. 
 

Miss Pettis wore a street-length dress of white brocade with a corsage attached to her shoulderline. She wore white accessories.  Her attendant was attired in a blue street-length dress, with matching accessories. 
 

The groom was attended by a friend, Robert Zank. 
 

The bride is a third year student at Stout College in Menomonie, and the groom works with his father on a farm. 
 

Following the ceremony a reception was held in the church parlors and a dance was held at the Silver Dome.
