Fedij, Anna (18 November 1898 - 4
December 1958)
Funeral services were conducted Friday
from the Georgas Funeral Home for Mrs. Gregory (Anna) Fedij, who
died Thursday at her farm home on Rt. 2, Granton. The Rev.
Jacob Borowsky, past or of the Greek Orthodox Church,
officiated. Burial was made Monday in the Elmwood Cemetery in
Chicago.
Mrs. Fedij, the former Anna Shybika, was
born November 18, 1898, in Ukraine, where she received her
education. She was married there to Gregory Fedij in
1916. They came to the United States in 1951, locating in
Chicago, where they resided until 1954, when they purchased the
former Albert (Lefty) Zank farm.
She is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Mike (Ewdokija) Bytner of Chicago, Ill., two sisters and a brother. Two grandchildren, twin girls, also survive.
