Washburn (P. T. A. - 1958)
The Washburn P. T. A. met Thursday
evening in the recreational room of the high school. About 50
parents and neighbors attended.
The president, Mrs. John Reinart, showed
the group a small trophy which could be used as a traveling prize
for the grade having the largest attendance of parents at the
meetings.
Mrs. Leonard Hetzel and Mrs. Reinart won
the door prizes.
Entertainment was an exchange of
Christmas gifts by the game of Bingo, at which the winner selected
another’s gift.
Mrs. John Urban, Jr., and Mrs. Joe Kaczor
were the hostesses and served a lunch of cake, Christmas cookies
and coffee.
The next meeting will be held January 8, 1959.
