Mynor, Forrest (26 JUN 1882 - 24 SEP 1955)
General Forrest Mynor, 73, was placed in his final resint place this afternoon at Riverside Cemetery following services conducted at two o’clock from the Hoeper and Kraut Funeral Home. The Rev. Harvey Adams officiated at the final rites.
Death came very suddenly as he apparently had been enjoying his normal health Saturday, driving to town from his home on route 2, Owen (Clark Co., Wis.), where he did his shopping and tended to other business matters. However, on his return home he became dreadfully ill that evening and on Sunday was admitted to Victory Memorial Hospital at Stanley where he passed away at 10:40 p.m., suffering from organic complications.
He was born on June 26, 1882, at Clarksville, ten., being the son of the late Clark Mynor.
In 1935 he moved to this community settling on a farm northeast of Owen. Twice married, his first wife passed away in 1944. Two years later, in 1946 he was united in marriage to Lucille Kelly, who survives him as does one son, Richard of Milwaukee. One other son, Forrest, and a daughter, Frieda, have preceded him in death.
