Miller, Henry A. (25 AUG 1888 - 31 AUG 1955)
A former Owen (Clark Co., Wis.) resident of many years ago, Henry A. Miller, passed away on the 31st of August, 1955, at a hospital in Vancouver, Wash. He was 67 years of age.
Word of his death was learned here this week by Mr. and Mrs. Charles Zivney.
Mr. Miller lived in Owen 33 years ago and worked as a meat cutter in Fleischman’s Meat Market, and later for Weisbord’s when they bought out Fleischman.
Since that time he had made his home in Vancouver, where he had been especially active in civic functions and served on the city council from 1939 to 1942 when the commission form of government took over.
He was born Aug. 25, 1888 in Chippewa Falls, Wis.
Survivors include the widow, Ella Miller, Vancouver; a daughter, Mrs. Beatrice Byers, Vancouver; two sons, Henry Jr. and Lester, both of Vancouver; two brothers, Harold of Libby, Mont., and Fred of San Francisco, Calif.; a sister, Mrs. Mary Litkey, Merrill, Wis.; and six grandchildren.
