Holcomb, Shaun C. (12 January 1978 - 18 March 2010) 
 

Shaun C. Holcomb, 32, of Mondovi, formerly of rural Eleva, passed away unexpectedly Thursday, March 18, 2010, in Galveston, TX, while on vacation. 
 

Shaun was born Jan. 12, 1978, in Eau Claire to Neil and Rosemary (Klotz) Holcomb.  He grew up on the family farm in rural Eleva and graduated from Eleva-Strum High School in 1996. 
 

He enjoyed spending time with his daughter, Amelia, and her mother, Jeanie Kopp of Neillsville, and hunting and fishing.  He also enjoyed spending time with his father and helping him with his antique farm machinery.  He enjoyed collecting antiques and going to flea markets and antique shows.  He will be sadly missed by family and friends.  
 

He is survived by his daughter, Amelia Holcomb of Neillsville; his parents, Neil Holcomb of Eleva and Rosemary (Howard) Spizman of White Bear Lake, MN; his sister, Sandy (Tim) Fromm and her family; other relatives and friends.  
 

Funeral services will be held Saturday, March 27, 2010, at Pleasant Valley United Methodist Church, S12166 Hillview Rd, Eleva, at 1 p.m. with Rev. Doris Simpson officiating.  Visitation will be held from 10:30 a.m. until the time of services.  Burial will follow at the Union Cemetery next to his paternal grandparents.   
 

Kjentvet-Smith Funeral Home of Mondovi is assisting the family. 
 

The family requests memorials in lieu of flowers.
