Bonnie J. Yurkovich, 55, of Willard died
Thursday March 4, 2010, at Luther Hospital in Eau Claire.
Bonnie Jean Yurkovich was born Oct. 18,
1954, in Neillsville, the daughter of Valentine and Sylvia (Jelercic) Yurkovich. She was raised on a farm near Willard
and received her education in the Willard are, graduating from
Greenwood High School in 1972. Bonnie then attended Western
Wisconsin Technical College in La Crosse where she studied to be a
surgical technician. After completing her schooling, she
worked at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Marshfield as a surgical
technician for 26 years and helped on the family farm. Bonnie
then worked at Land O’Lakes in Greenwood for three years and
then returned to the family farm to work full-time.
She had many interests but especially
loved spending time with her family, baking and making wedding
cakes, sewing, traveling, crafts, collecting antiques, skiing and
sports. Bonnie loved Brewer baseball and traveled to Florida
for spring training several times.
She will be dearly missed by her mother,
Sylvia Yurkovich of Willard; five siblings, Richard (Gabrielle)
Yurkovich of Willard, Mary Jo (Dennis) Sischo of Neillsville,
Edward (Peggy) Yurkovich of Willard, Kitty (Dale) Wolf of Loyal and
Luke (Judy) Yurkovich of Willard. Bonnie was a very devoted aunt to
Mitch (Charissa) Yurkovich and their children, Parker, Kamdyn and
Teagon Yurkovich, Phil Yurkovich, Aaron (Cheryl) Sischo and their
children Brady and Aiden Sischo, Lacey (Stephen) Morris and their
daughter Zoe Morris, Amy Yurkovich, Kimberly (Michael) Anderson,
Mike Wolf, Nate Wolf, Caroline Wolf and Brenden Yurkovich.
She is further survived by aunts, uncles, cousins and many
friends.
She was preceded in death by her father,
Valentine, Oct. 21, 1996.
A celebration of Bonnie’s life will
be held at a later date.
