Harlow, Phillip (21 June 1912)
Last Friday afternoon Phillip Harlow was killed and Phillip White was badly hurt in a runaway accident which occurred in the 26th road north of this city. White is a farmer living on that road and Harlow was his grandson who was visiting him and whose home was at Hannibal. White was driving a fractious team and met a neighbor on the road. The neighbor threw up his hand in greeting and his action scared the team which bolted into a barbed wire fence at the side of the road. Both the occupants of the buggy were thrown out, the little lad being killed and White suffering a broken shoulder. Oscar Weinberger of this city was nearly when the accident occurred.
