Fredrickson, Lucille E. (6 August 1920 -
14 March 2010)
Lucille E. Fredrickson, 89, of Stanley,
died Sunday, March 14, 2010, at St. Joseph’s Hospice Unit,
Marshfield.
She was born on August 6, 1920, in
Downsville, WI the daughter of the late Paul and Rose (Manier)
Cotts. Her family moved to the Town of Worden when she was a
young girl and she was raised there. She married Otto
Fredrickson in 1938.
Lucille went to work for the Northern
Center in 1967 as a nurse’s aid and retired from there.
She was active in Our Savior’s sewing circle, loved playing
cards and enjoyed traveling.
She is survived by her children: Lois (George) Gregoire of East Troy, Dorothy Goodman of Stanley, Robert (Jane) Fredrickson of Vadnais Heights, MN, David (Kathy)
Fredrickson of Jim Falls, Anita (Clarence) Turenne of Lexington,
GA, and Ron (Carol) Fredrickson of Lublin; 24 grandchildren; and
many great-grandchildren.
Lucille was preceded in death by her
husband (1977); her parents; an infant son, Paul; infant daughter,
Christine; a granddaughter; one sister, Polly Ann Schultze; and her
brothers: Merle, George, James, John, Paul, Rodger and Howard
Cotts.
Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. on
Friday, March 19, 2010, at our Savior’s Lutheran Church,
Stanley. Burial will follow in the Evergreen Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 9 a.m. until time of services on Friday at
the church.
The Plombon Funeral Home assisted the family with arrangements. The family appreciates memorials be directed to Our Savior’s Lutheran Church.
