Chrzaszcz, Stephen Andrew (17 September
1926 - 28 March 2010) With Flag
Stephen Andrew Chrzaszcz died on Sunday,
March 28, 2010. Steve was born on September 17, 1926, in the
Town of Roosevelt, Taylor County, Wisconsin. He attended
Plainville Grade School. In 1945, Steve entered the military
service and was an Army World War II veteran. He had many
occupations in his life, including being a canned milk hauler for
22 years. He also worked at National Presto Industries in Eau
Claire. Steve, along with his wife, Judy, ran a dairy farm
until his retirement.
His favorite past time was watching
baseball and playing the concertina (which he taught himself at the
age of 14). He volunteered his music at many nursing
homes. Steve was a proud member of the Lublin American Legion
Post 5547. He was also a member of the Thorp K. C.’s
and Gilman V. F. W. He belonged to St. Stanislaus Catholic
Church in Lublin for many years.
In later years, he, along with his wife
Judy, enjoyed coordinating, Chippewa Trails bus trips to
casinos.
Steve was preceded in death by his
parents; one brother, Julius; and a nephew, Jerome Chrzaszcz.
He leaves to mourn his wife, Judy, of 46
years marriage; his brothers-in-law: Larry and Gary Biddle; Gerald
Kilde; and sister-in-law, Diane Kilde; his two step-nephews: Gary
Sayre (Rosemary) and their daughters, Jessica Sayre and Casey Sayre
of Virginia, and Larry Biddle, Jr. (Whitney) and their sons, Larry
Biddle III and Aidan Biddle of Virginia.
Cremation Society of Wisconsin is handling the arrangements. There will be no visitation. A private family memorial will be held at a later date.
