J.W. Tolford received word Saturday of the death of Mrs. Mary A. Dickey at her home in Portland, Ore.  Mrs. Dickey died on Thursday, Aug. 15 and was buried Monday, Aug 18, at Portland.  She was born in Wales and was aged 79 years, 4 months and 30 days.  She is survived by two sons and two daughters, Misses Blanche and Marion and Edgar and Chauncey.  Owing to the meager data at hand a more complete obituary cannot be given.  Mrs. Dickey was one of the best known ladies in this city and her personality was one which attracted many friends by its inherent goodness and kindness.  She went to Portland a few years ago to make her home with her daughter and all her children with her at the time of her death.   Her many friends here will be sincerely grieved to learn that her life’s work has been completed.
