Humbird (Chenoweth Mill Co. - 1912)
The Humbird Roller Mills are again
turning the high grade of buckwheat flour for which they were noted
in years gone. The new firm, the Chenoweth Mill Co., has
christened the buckwheat flour "Owl Brand." Orders for
several carloads are already booked, and shipments will begin
soon.
The mill has again put a wheat flour on
the market, which is proving very satisfactory to the bread
makers. It is named "Golden Sun." It has been some time
since a wheat flour was manufactured in Humbird. This output
has had a ready sale.
It is the intention of the company to make extensive improvements about the mill and the dam another summer and may put in considerable concrete work. The firm is composed of Geo. Chenoweth, who is the resident manager, and E.J. Chenoweth, of Taylor. The latter was in town Saturday on business in connection with the mill. - Humbird Enterprise
