Neillsville (Democratic political
speakers - 25 Oct 1912)
Last Friday night Hon. John F. Doherty of La Crosse and W.N. Coffland of Viroqua addressed a fair sized audience at the opera house on behalf of the state and national Democratic tickets. Mr. Doherty is a most eloquent speaker and his discussion of national issues was well received by the audience. Mr. Coffland is opposed to Hon. John J. Esch for the office of congressman of this district and while he is not a very fluent speaker, yet what he said tended to secure for him a favorable impression upon those who heard him. The two gentlemen and Hon. B.R. Goggins addressed a meeting at Loyal Saturday night.
