Davis, Walter (1932? - March 24, 2010) 
 

Walter Davis, 78, Abbotsford, died at his residence surrounded by his family on Wednesday, March 24, 2010.   
 

Walter enjoyed golfing, fixing cars, word search, taking grandchildren and great-grandchildren on walks, going for rides around the countryside and Friday night fish fry’s.  
 

He mowed lawn for the Abbotsford Bible Church and Abbotsford Public Cemetery for many years.  
 

Survivors include two daughters, Sheila Schillinger of Abbotsford and Bonnie Garfoot of Evansville; four sons, Steve Davis of Dodgeville, Kerry (Jody) Davis of Sussex, John (Pam) Davis of Abbotsford and Dennis (Dawn) Davis of Abbotsford; 25 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren and two brothers, Roy and Elmer Davis.   
 

Walter was preceded n death by his wife, Audrey; an infant son, David Davis; and one grandson. 

 
Funeral services for Walter will be on Friday, March 26, 2010, at 1:00 p.m., at the Maurina-Schilling Funeral Home in Abbotsford. Burial will follow in the Abbotsford Public Cemetery.  
 

Grandsons will serve as pallbearers. Visitation with family and friends will be at the Maurina-Schilling Funeral Home in Abbotsford on Friday, March 26, 2010 from 11:00 a.m. until the time of service.
