Frenzel, William (17 Sept 1847 - 30 Oct
1912)
William Frenzel died last Wednesday evening at his home near the mounds northwest of the city of stomach trouble. He was born in Germany and was aged 65 years, 1 month and 13 days. He was united in marriage to Helen Schreiber about 30 years ago and with his family came to this country 27 years ago, settling in Michigan. In 1895 he came to Clark county, locating on a farm south of this city, where he resided until six years ago when he moved to the farm near the mounds. He was the father of six children but is survived by three sons—Gus., William and Emil—and his wife. He was an excellent man and neighbor and lived a life which made him many sincere friends. The funeral was held Sunday afternoon, services being held at the German Reformed church and interment being made in the Neillsville cemetery.
