Stratford.
Miss Freda Radke is spending the holidays
at Neenah.
Mrs. J.W. Tolford went to Thorp Tuesday
to spend Christmas.
John Wildisch and wife are spending
Christmas at Waukesha.
Miss Tressie Schwentkofske is home from
Duluth for Christmas.
Ray Turner of Norway, Mich. is visiting
B. Dangers and family.
Jos. Chase and family are visiting at
their old home at Pine River.
Miss Kate Alexander arrived home Tuesday
to spend the holidays.
Miss Jennie O’Hare of Minneapolis
is visiting her sister, Mrs. A.C. Martin.
Barney Kearney and wife are spending the
week at Milwaukee.
Miss Josephine Miller came home last week
from a visit at Manitowoc.
Frank Glass is home from Minneapolis for
Christmas with his family.
Miss Lottie Marx is home from an extended
visit at Chicago and Waupaca.
Fred Wolff and wife went to Maywood,
Ill., Tuesday to spend several weeks with their daughter.
E.D. Miller of Pine Valley took his
little son to Marshfield Monday for an operation for
adenoids.
John Minta and family of Plymouth are
here to spend the holidays with her mother, Mrs.
Neverman.
Miss Clarissa Dodte closed a successful
term of school in Dist. No. 2, Pine Valley, last Friday with a fine
program.
Mrs. H. M. Root and Mrs. Mead were called
to Greenwood Friday by the illness of their mother, Mrs.
McMahon.
Mrs. Chas. Austin was in Eau Claire
Tuesday. She returned home with Mr. Austin and Kenneth who
have been working in Cornell.
Jack McLane arrived here from Plentywood,
Mont., Monday morning and expects to spend a couple months at his
home in Christie.
Mesdames Harry Darling, Dode Fisk and
Neal Taplin were here from Merrillan Monday and spent the day with
their brother, C.E. Bartlett.
Miss Margaret Armstrong of Phoenix,
Ariz., is here to spend the holidays with Miss Avis Ring. She
is a student at the state university.
Mr. and Mrs. Fred Wolff, Mrs. Ed Wolff
and two children and Will Schiller came from Glendive, Mont., last
week to spend several weeks here.
Mrs. F.R. Gotchling went home to Eau Claire Tuesday where she will spend Christmas with her husband, after spending the past two weeks here with her parents.
