Loos, Jay M. (December 22, 1964 - April
5, 2010)
Jay M. Loos, 45, Colby, formerly of
Marathon, died suddenly and unexpectedly on Monday, April 5, 2010
surrounded by his family at St. Joseph's Hospital,
Marshfield.
He was born December 22, 1964, in Wausau
to the late Marion Kroll.
He enjoyed working on cars, cooking,
paying drums, singing, fishing, cooking out and sitting around
bonfires with his family and friends, as well as gin g to races,
four-wheeling and riding his bicycle and motorcycle.
Jay played with many local polka bands,
including the Polka Country Drifters, Harmony Aces, Ken Scheffler
and The Relatives and the Ricky Westfall Band.
Survivors include four children, Heather (fiancé Bruce) Bushko, Hatley, Jennifer (Andy) Miller,
Edgar, John Loos, Athens, and Ambrosia Loos, Medford; two
grandchildren, Dominic Busko and Casey Wulk; his step-father, Fred
Kroll, Marathon; three brothers, Mark (Mary) Loos, Marathon, Brian (Sally) Loos, Mosinee and Tommy Loos, Marathon; one sister, Jane (Jerry) Herzog, Wausau and his former wife and friend, Ann Polzin,
Medford.
Besides his mother, he was preceded in death by one sister, Julie Schauer.
Funeral services will be at 7:00 p.m. Thursday, April 8, 2010 at
Peterson-Kraemer Funeral Home, Marathon. Rev. John Roseth will
preside. Friends may call Thursday from 4:00 p.m. until time of
services at the funeral home.
