1) Lenas Prock and others are hauling wood to Neillsville.
2) H. Parker made a business trip to Neillsville Tuesday.
3) Mary Habeck of Wausau is visiting her uncle, Fred Baling and
family.
4) The Sief boys have been busy during the week sawing wood with
their steam wood saw.
5) C. H. Paine came back from Iowa, where he spend Christmas with
his folks, to look after the affairs of Aug. Zimmerman.
6) Mrs. Sief, who was taken to Neillsville to be treated for
rheumatism, is reported no better.
7) Geo. Williams of Loyd, Richland county, is visiting his uncle,
W. H. Marden and family of Globe.
8) Mrs. W. H. Marden was called to Hewettville by the sickness of
her little nephew Wednesday last.
9) Jacob Schwamb, who has been sick for the past few weeks, was
taken to Eau Claire Thursday for an operation.
