Funeral services were conducted on Saturday afternoon for Mrs. Robert Haslow, 65, who died at her home in the town of Sherman at 4 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 26, after an illness of several months.
Private rites were conducted at the Loyal funeral home at 1"30 Saturday, fo;;owed by services at the Loyal Theatre at 2 o’clock. The Rev. Mr. Petran of Madison officiated, and burial was in the Lutheran cemetery.
Pallbearers were Ed Haslow, Alvin Haslow, Paul Haslow, Henry Scheel, Louis Scheel and Alfred Komis. In charge of the flowers were Mrs. Ed Haslow, Mrs. Alvin Haslow, Mrs. Elmer Witt, Mrs. Paul Haslow, Mrs. Henry Scheel and Mrs. Louis Scheel.
Emma Scheel was born in Dodge county on Apr. 7, 1882, and was married to Robert Haslow on Oct. 21, 1903. She and her husband resided on the farm in the town of Sherman for the past 40 years.
Surviving are Mr. Haslow; two daughters, Mrs. Walter (Esther) Yaeger of Marshfield and Mrs. William (Martina) Pochrandt of Loyal; a son Vernol Haslow of Loyal; six grandchildren; a sister, Mrs. Albert Komis, of Abbotsford, and three brothers, William Scheel of Abbotsford and Ralph and Robert Scheel of Loyal. One son died in infancy.
The Tribune extends to the bereaved its sympathy in the loss of a beloved relative.
