Wargolet, Frank (1906 - 17 JUL 1956)
Frank Wargolet, 50, Withee (Clark Co., Wis.), died almost instantly Tuesday afternoon, July 17th, 1956, while raking hay in a field on his brother farm in the town of Roosevelt at the Taylor-Clark line.
Coroner David Ruesch, Medford, who investigated the death, said it is believed that the field worker died of cerebral hemorrhage. Felix Mroz, Withee, working with Wargolet in the field said the stricken man complained of a stinging sensation on his forehead, thinking that he had been stung by a bee. He then fell to the ground. It was believed that he died instantly upon falling.
The victim was taken to the Thorp Funeral Home.
