Hahto, Margaret (JUL 1956)
In a recent ceremony in the Congregational Church of Owen, Miss Margaret Hahto, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Hahto, Owen (Clark Co., Wis.), was married to Don Hedrick, son of Mr. and Mrs. John Hedrick, Hartsville, Ind. The Rev. Ralph Claybaugh performed the double ring ceremony.
Escorted to the altar by her father, the bride wore a gown of Chantilly type lace with side panels of accordion pleated nylon tulle over satin, enhanced by a Peter Pan collar above a tulle yoke and long tapered sleeves. A jeweled crown of pearls held her fingertip veil of Matching Chantilly lace on tulle. She carried a bouquet of red roses with streamers of ivy and rose buds on white ribbon.
Miss Jacqueline Hahto was maid of honor. Misses Wilma Hedrick and Irma Helwig were bridesmaids. Attendants wore ballerina length gowns of crystalette in pastel shades of pink, blue and yellow and carried bouquets of gladiolas. They wore head bands to match their gowns.
John Hahto and Arnold Awe were groomsmen. Ushers were George and Gene Himes.
Mrs. Donald Marshall sang "I Love You Truly" and "O Perfect Love," accompanied by Jo Ann Zalabsky at the organ.
A reception was held in the church basement immediately following the ceremony. Guests were from Indiana, Illinois, Pennsylvania and Wisconsin. After a honeymoon trip through southern Indian, the newlyweds will live in Waukegan, Ill.
