Thorp, Wisconsin

 

Fred McKee has returned to Tony to resume work on the Enterprise.

 

Edith Leslie, who was quite sick for a few days last week, is recovering.

 

Oscar Houser, wife and little son are visiting Mrs. H.’s parents, Ben Bruno and wife.

 

Rev. R.H. Colby went to Lodi last week to be present at the ordination of his son Charles.

 

H.G. Spafford has removed his stock of jewelry and tools to Cadott, where he has again opened up a business.

 

Three new girls in Thorp; one at the home of Wm. Francis, one is boarding at Wm. Van Houten’s, the third at the home of Henry Sanders.

 

A man, whose name we did not learn, was brought in from Devine’s camp, 16 miles north of town, having a dislocated shoulder, the result of a log rolling over him. He was taken to Banderob’s hotel, where he was properly cared for.
