Residents of the village (Curtiss, Clark Co., Wis.) were saddened on Monday evening when news of the sudden death of Henry Peterson was made known.  While not in the best of health of late, Mr. Peterson had done the evening chores and had gone to repair a street light, a task he had finished when he suffered a fatal heart attack.

He received his education in Sweden and was a jeweler by trade.

He was married in 1913 to Miss Bertha Schroeder and has lived in the village for 43 years.

He is survived by his wife, four sons, Armin of Curtiss, Franklin, Chicago, Ramon, Battle Creek, Mich., and Orlyn, San Francisco; two daughters, Mrs. Michael (Evelyn) Novak of Cato, N.Y., and Mrs. Orville, (Kathryn) Schuette, Unity; and seven grandchildren.  A son, Lorrin, lost his life in World War II.

Funeral services will be held on Friday at 2:00 p.m. from the Hoeper and Kraut Funeral Home at Owen.  Burial will be in Green Grove Lutheran Cemetery.

The Rev. max E. Wilhelm, pastor of the Evangelical Lutheran Church, will officiate.  Pallbearers are Paul Konik, Ray Kobs, Art Laabs, Ervin Koerner, Dick Koernen and Jake Johnson.

In charge of flowers are Mesdames Martha Hormel, Lucy Johnson, Florence Konik, Carla Lien, Loraine Kobs and June Braithwaite.

Mr. Peterson will be missed by his many friends.  He was a kind neighbor, always willing to help when needed.
