Makinen, Frank (1877 - 10 AUG 1956)
Final rites were conducted Monday, Aug. 13, at two o’clock for Frank Makinen. Services were held at the Hoeper and Kraut Funeral Home, Owen, with Rev. John Saarinen, pastor of Bethany Evangelical Lutheran Parish, officiated at the services. Interment was made at Riverside Cemetery.
Pallbearers were Sol Laakso, John Rosenquist, Victory Matilla, Henry Cass, John Slikarla and Kalle Kakonen.
Frank Makinen passed away Friday evening at the Clark County Hospital where he had been a resident patient for better than a year. For more than 25 years he lived on a farm at the north city limits of the city (Owen, Clark Co., Wis.).
He had no survivors whatsoever.
