Galarowicz, Jacob (1885? - 10 AUG 1956)
Funeral services were held at the St. Stanislaus Church of Lublin by Rev. Eugene Konopka for Jacob Galarowicz who died suddenly of a heart attack at his home Friday morning, at one o’clock, August 10, 1956.
He was 71 years old. He came to Pennsylvania in 1904 and lived there for eight years. He moved to Lublin (Taylor Co., Wis.) and lived here for 42 years.
Besides his wife he leaves 10 living children. Two sons preceded him in death. There are four daughters and six sons to mourn. They are: Mrs. Stanley (Kay) Bak of Chicago, Ill., Mrs. William (Bernice) Swinarski of Lublin, Mrs. Joe (Anna) Bak of Omaha, Neb., and Mrs. Al (Sophie) Rybinski of Cicero, Ill.
The sons are: Frank of Cicero, Ill., John of Little Rock, Ark., Andrew of Chicago, Ill., Vincent of Madison, Wis., Joe of Chicago, Ill., and Walter of Cicero, Ill.
He has 10 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren.
The pallbearers were: Stanley Wojdyla, Albert Rosiejka, Stanley Zawacki, John Rymut, Stanley Staniec and Frank Ogurek. Those from out of town were: Mrs. Albert Przepiora, Mrs. Charles Jablonski, Mrs. Leopold Bonk, Walter Bonk, Mrs. Paul Janiks, and Mr. and Mrs. Walter Nowicki, all of Chicago.
