Wittek, Mr. & Mrs. John M. (50^th - 18 AUG 1956)

A High Mass was held at St. Stanislaus Catholic Church at Lublin for the 50^th wedding anniversary of Mr. and Mrs. John M. Wittek on Saturday, Aug. 18, 1956.

Mr. and Mrs. John M. Wittek were married at Chicago, Ill., in 1906.  They lived there until 1912, when they moved to a farm at Lublin (Taylor Co., Wis.).  They farmed there until 1948 when they retired.

Children present were: Stella, Mrs. Thomas Nowicki, Chicago, Ill.; Rose, Mrs. Joe Malinowski, Withee; Sophie, Mrs. E. Latko, Chicago, Ill.; Lillian, Mrs. Spiro Dousounis, California; John Wittek, Jr., Withee; Frank Wittek, Withee; Peter Wittek, Lublin, 23 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

Out of town guests were: Mr. and Mrs. Art Vilkow, Mrs. A. Swiatek, Helen Swiatek, Lottie Swiatek, Mary Swiatek, Mrs. Walter Bak, Mr. and Mrs. Edward Latko, Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Nowicki, Lillian Nowicki and Mrs. Fiayak, all of Chicago, Ill., and Mrs. Florence Kroll of Des Plaines, Ill.
