Nelson, Eunice (29 AUG 1956)
Area residents will be interested in the recent marriage of a former Owen (Clark Co., Wis.) resident, Eunice Nelson, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. James Nelson, now of Milwaukee.
Miss Nelson exchanged the sacred wedding vows with Ray Pietila of Chicago, in a lovely candlelight ceremony performed at eight o’clock, Wednesday, Aug. 29th, 1956, in Westminster Presbyterian Church in Milwaukee. The couple repeated the nuptial vows after the Rev. Charles Geisler.
The couple were attended by Mrs. Grace Kilgus, a close friend of the bride from Naperville, Ill., while the bridegroom was attended by Charles Nelson, the bride’s only brother.
Following the ceremony a reception was given at the home of the bride’s parents.
After a short honeymoon trip the couple will make their home in Naperville, Ill., where the bride has held the teaching position for the past several years.
Guests attending the wedding ceremony included Mr. and Mrs. Charles Nelson and sons, Robert and Richard of Chatham, N.J.; Mr. and Mrs. Ted Nelson, Mr. and Mrs. Bob Nelson, Dr. and Mrs. J. Gurney Taylor, Mrs. Ruth Hawes, Mr. and Mrs. John Barager, and Mr. and Mrs. R. E. Olson, Milwaukee; and Mr. and Mrs. William Kilgus of Naperville, Ill.
