Rosenquist, Jeanette M. #2 (1 SEP 1956)

Miss Jeanette Marie Rosenquist daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Harvey Rosenquist, Withee (Clark Co., Wis.), entered Bethany Lutheran Church at Owen Saturday afternoon, Sept. 1, 1956, at 1:30 o’clock to become the bride of Dean C. Kile, son of Mr. and Mrs. John Kile, Thorp (Clark Co.).  The Rev. John Saarinen was the officiating clergyman.

As she entered the church the bride was seen in a white ballerina length gown of Alencon lace with matching jacket the skirt having panels of tiny lace ruffles.  A tiara tye headpiece held the bridal veil.  She carried a heart shaped floral piece fashioned with red mums and candy striped and white carnations.

In the role of maid of honor for her new sister-in-law was Miss Alma Kile, Thorp, who wore a blue ballerina length formal, the double net over taffeta skirt being topped by a lace bodice and matching jacket.  Miss Kile carried a cascade arrangement of yellow mums and carnations.

Miss Emily Sorenson, Withee, the bridesmaid, carried an identical floral piece and was similarly attired.

Gerald Dietsche, Spencer was best man and Arthur Ondal, Stanley, the groomsman.

Elvin Kile, Withee, brother of the groom, and Albert Schultz, Curtiss, the bride’s uncle, performed the ushering duties.

Two little flower girls for the occasion, both dressed like the bride, were Gloria Kile, Withee, a niece of the groom, and Joan Rosenquist, also of Withee, a sister of the bride.

Yellow and white carnations were provided for the mothers of the bridal pair.  Mrs. Rosenquist wearing a rose frock with white accessories and Mrs. Kile a navy blue dress with white accessories.

The wedding reception was held in the church parlors after the ceremony.  Following a northern Wisconsin and Michigan honeymoon the Kiles will reside in Stevens Point, where Mr. Kile is a student at Central State College.  He is a graduate of Greenwood High School and his wife was graduated from Withee High School.

Wedding guests came from Stevens Point, Thorp, Stanley, Eau Claire, Ripon, Abbotsford, Colby, Spencer and Waukegan Ill.
