Hargraves, Fern M. (Tischendorf) (January
13, 1927 - May 2, 2010)
Fern M. Hargraves, age 83, of Abbotsford
formerly of Athens, passed away at her residence on Sunday, May 2,
2010.
Her memorial service will be held on
Wednesday, May 5, 2010 at 4 PM at the Maurina Schilling Funeral
Home in Abbotsford. The Rev. Kenneth A. Dix will officiate. Friends
may call at the funeral home on Wed. from 1-4 PM. Burial will
follow the service at the Dorchester Cemetery. Serving as her
pallbearers will be Dennis, Keith, and Robert Tryba and David
Frey.
On January 13, 1927 Fern was born to the
late Paul and Hattie (Grabowski) Tischendorf in Dorchester, WI.
She graduated from Dorchester High School
in 1945. On Feb. 16, 1946 she married the late George
Hargraves.
She was a member of the Cornith
homemakers, United Church of Christ Ladies Guild and an active
member of United Church of Christ Church. She loved flowers and
gardening.
She is lovingly survived by her children
David Hargraves of Abbotsford and Paulette (John) Tryba of Mosinee;
three grandchildren: Dennis (Brenda) Tryba, Keith Tryba, and Robert (Vicki) Tryba; Two great grandchildren Ben and
Amanda.
She is preceded in death by her husband
George, a daughter Sharon Bedora, grandson Louis Bedora, two infant
sons, two sisters, two brothers.
The Maurina Schilling Funeral Home in
Abbotsford is assisting the family with funeral arrangements.
