Colby, Wisconsin
Atty. Jackson transacted business at Thorp Thursday.
Mayor R.B. Salter made his first appearance on our streets
last Friday after his long sickness. We are all pleased to see him
out again.
The second regiment band of Marshfield played a few pieces on
our streets Thursday. They came up to play at Mr. and Mrs.
Will’s silver wedding.
The concert and dance given by the business men of Colby last
Tuesday night was a great success in every particular. The music
was furnished by the famous Arion orchestry of Oshkosh. As the
orchestra had more pieces than on their previous visits, the music
was better than before and was simply unsurpassable. The Arions are
always welcome in Colby.
