Orth, Christine (3 JUL 1911 - 28 SEP 1956)
Final rites were conducted for Christine R. Orth, 45, Tuesday, Oct. 2, 1956, from St. Matthias Episcopal Church in Waukesha. The deceased passed away Sept. 28th, 1956 at Memorial Hospital, Waukesha, as the result of complications following surgery. Burial was made in Memorial Park Cemetery, Milwaukee. Officiating at the services were Father C. B. Madock.
Chrstine R. Orth, nee Rasmussen, was born July 3, 1911 in the Town of Longwood, Clark Co., Wis. She received her education while attending Owen Public Schools and the Taylor County Normal. On July 15, 1939 she was united in marriage to Manford Orth in a ceremony performed in Milwaukee.
She is survived by her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Marius Rasmussen of Withee; and two sisters, Mrs. Joe (Hilda) Mertens, West Allis, Mrs. Robert (Evelyn) Bruss, Milwaukee, and a son Emil of Waupaca.
One sister, Mrs. Cullen (Mary) Cammers of Chicago preceded her in death.
