King, Anna (14 Mar 1860 - 6 Feb 1913)

Mrs. William King died Feb. 6th at her home east of the city.  She was born Anna Waterman in New York state on March 14, 1860.  She was united in marriage to William King on April 4, 1883, and to this union four children were born.  Mrs. King had been a resident of this county for many years and during her lifetime here she demonstrated her constancy, charity and kindly spirit.  She was a capable wife and mother and her death is a matter of sincere sorrow to those who grew up with her and those who have known her in the later days of life.

Mrs. King is survived by her husband and four children, Reuben, Roy, Mrs. Ellen Darling and Miss Lydia King.  Also by three grandchildren and three sisters, Mrs. Fanny Swann, Mrs. Eliza Cameron and Mrs. Sarah Hall.

The funeral was held Sunday afternoon.  Services were conducted by Rev. Prescott at the Ridge church and interment was made in the Grant cemetery.
