Heilemann, George (Legal Fine - 1 Mar
1913)
Last Saturday George Heilemann was fined $5 and costs for obtaining money under false pretenses. The costs brought the total up to $125.06. Heilemann lives at Jefferson Junction and last December he blew into town and stayed for several days. He knew Henry Seidelman and Carl Walk, who were former residents of Jefferson, and borrowed $10 from Seidelman on the strength of the acquaintance. On the last day of December he borrowed $5 more from Seidelman and then borrowed $16 from Mr. Walk and "flew the coop." He was chased from hades to breakfast by Sheriff Hewett and finally Harry caught up with him at Jefferson Junction with the above results.
