Williams, Jeanine Marie (3 August 1944 -
13 May 2010)
Jeanine Williams, 65, passed away May 13,
2010, at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Marshfield.
Jeanine Marie Holzbauer was born to
Joseph and Mary Sylvia (Zavatosky) Holzbauer Aug. 3, 1944, in
Milwaukee. She graduated from high school in Palmyra and
attended college at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee.
She completed her degree at the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater
and went on to teach elementary LD in Marshfield for 25 years,
during which time she achieved a master’s degree in education
through the University of Wisconsin system. Jeanine was a
dedicated teacher, and her love for her job and for the families
she worked with was apparent to all who knew her.
Jeanine married Wendell Williams in
1974. They moved to his family’s farm in 1978, where
they raised their family and had a happy life together.
Jeanine loved her family and friends, animals, gardening, music,
the theater and shopping. She was involved with the community
theater group in Marshfield for a time and especially enjoyed
musicals and live productions.
Jeanine was a loving wife and mother and
a loyal and true friend to many. She will be missed by her husband;
her children, Mary Ellen (Paul Jr.) Elmhorst, David (Jeanine)
Voigt, Tim (Sue) Voight, Jeramy (Melanie) Williams; her 13
grandchildren; one brother, Phil (Helen) Holzbauer; her cousin
George Holzbauer; aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and a
great number of dear friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents
and her brother, Robert Holzbauer.
A memorial will be held by the family
this summer.
Memorials may be sent to the American Diabetes Association or to the American Heart association.
