A Mr. Morgan of Elroy was recently a guest at Jas. Jordan’s.
Mrs. J. Foster fell and hurt one of her wrists quite severely Sunday.
We understand that Mike Jordan will act as groom to a thoroughbred horse for Augusta parties this summer.
E.O. Warner is laid up with a fractured clavicle, the result of an accident which befell him while loading cars recently.
Wm. Vandusen has sold his wood sawing machine to Wm. Ogle & Co., who are putting some necessary repairs on the same.
This community can now boast of a $3,000 coach horse. The animal is owned by a stock company and is under the personal management of Jas. Jordan.
A number of veterans and their wives dropped in on Capt. Joe Baxter last Wednesday evening and made things lively for him ad his estimable wife for several hours.
A very happy social event was the gathering at the hoe of Chas. Carlson Saturday evening. Charlie and his wife are capital entertainers and everyone present ad a jolly good time.
