Maud Varney visited Saturday and Sunday with her brother Alba and family.
Dr. H.N. Schwarze transacted business at the county seat and at Marshfield last week.
Denver Green is getting out the timbers for a barn and a granary to be erected on his farm shortly.
The boys are home from the woods now. This kind of weather making life in a lumber camp impossible. There is no reason to complain however, this having been as good a winter as we have had for some time.
Schools close this week, Friday being the last day. The one in the Decker district having finished its year, successfully conducted by Miss Braun and the Buker district school after a vacation of two weeks will have a spring term of two months’ length.
