Daubins, Marcella (04 JUNE 1922 - 15 MAY 2010)
Marcella L. (Tippelt) Daubins, 87, formerly of Spencer, died on
Saturday, May 15, 2010, at Taylor Park Nursing Home, Rhinelander.
Funeral services were held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, May 19, at
Trinity Lutheran Church, Spencer. The Rev. Karl Rose officiated.
Interment was in the West Spencer Cemetery.
Marcella L. Mueller was born on June 4, 1922, in Medford, to
Charles and Emma (nee Zuleger) Mueller. She graduated from Medford
High School in 1940. On April 26, 1941, in Medford, she married
Frank Tippelt. The couple owned and operated a small dairy farm
together until 1964 after which they sold the farm together until
1964 after which they sold the farm and moved to the village of
Spencer. Besides farming, she also worked at the
Roddis/Weyerhaeuser Company, Marshfield. Her husband preceded her
in death on Aug. 6, 1971.
She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church, Spencer, where she
served as a Sunday school teacher for a number of years. In 1974,
she moved to Janesville, where she was employed by Mercy Hospital
in the surgical supply department. On May 24, 1980, in Rockton,
Ill., she married Harold Daubins. He preceded her in death on Oct.
16, 1996.
She enjoyed traveling, farming, and flower gardening. She
especially enjoyed bowling and on several bowling leagues while in
Janesville. She will always be remembered for her excellent cooking
and baking.
She is lovingly survived by her children, Janice (Paul) Britton,
Brodhead, Duane (Karen) Tippelt, Neecdah, and Carol (Jim) Heffner,
Eagle River; five grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; four
great-great-grandchildren; one sister, Dorothy (Don) Ossman, Loyal;
many nieces, nephews and friends. She will truly be missed.
Preceding her in death were her parents, Charles and Emma Mueller;
both husbands, Frank Tippelt and Harold Daubins; two grandchildren,
Brad Clouse and Brian Clouse; as well as three sisters and eight
brothers.
