Boehning, Delilia (09 FEB 1888 - 26 JAN 1948)

Mrs. Richard Boehning of route two, Marshfield, died of heart trouble and complications at St. Joseph’s hospital in Marshfield at 10:15 on Monday, Jan. 26. She was in poor health for several years.

Mrs. Boehning, the former Delilia Wunrow, daughter of Mrs. Elizabeth Wunrow of Manitowoc and the late Gustav Wunrow, was born in Calumet county on Feb. 9, 1888. When she was four years old, she came to Marshfield and spent most of her life in the vicinity of Marshfield and Loyal.

Her marriage to Richard Boehning took place at the Immanuel Lutheran church in Hewitt on Sept. 4, 1908.

Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 229, at the Hewitt church, the Rev. John Brandt officiating. Burial was in the church cemetery.

Pallbearers were Ed. Walter and Herbert Boehning, James Wunrow, Herman Stecker and Clarion Howard. In charge of flowers were Mrs. Clarion Howard, Mrs. Gordon Dorne, Dorothy Federwitz, Lillian Boehning, Betty Wunrow and Mrs. Louis Federwitz.

Surviving, besides her husband and mother are five children: Mrs. Ray (Ethel) Vogel of Loyal, Mrs. Joseph (Marcella) Neuman of Marshfield, Mrs. Harvey Wickersham of Chicago, Reinhold Boehning of Spencer, and Raymond Boehning at home. Also surviving are two sisters , Mrs. Edward (Ella) Ehlert of Manitowoc and Mrs. George (Nora) Winkler of Milwaukee, and three brothers, Paul Wunrow of New Holstein, Alfred Wunrow of Milwaukee and Richard Wunrow of California. One son and two brothers preceded her in death.

The Tribune extends to the bereaved its sympathy in the loss of a beloved relative.
