The caucus for the town of Unity was held last Saturday afternoon. It was exciting and the struggle for nominations on the ticket for some offices was long and close until the final end. The ballotting [sic] resulted in the following nominations: Chariman, Edgar Ayer; supervisors, B. Balle and Otto Andre; clerk F.A. Schintz (by acclamation); assessor, Jos. Frane; justices, Wm. Stewart, S.H. Pickett; constables, J.K. Horn, Lynn Pickett, Chas. Molla.
