Mat Schafer and family visited relatives at Spokeville Sunday.
Johnie [sic] Furlong is cooking for Josiah Timerson near Greenwood.
School opened yesterday after a two weeks’ vacation with Ed Billings as teacher.
Rev. Hendren of Greenwood called on Chas. Hanna yesterday and also on Lansom Mabie of York.
Ed Montgomery and daughters, Nellie and Nettie of Neillsville, were calling on friends in this vicinity last Sunday.
Mrs. W.K. Armitage and Mrs. Chas. Broker visited their cousin, Nelson Timerson of Spokeville last Saturday and Sunday.
A school meeting was held last Saturday evening to decide the question of erecting a new school house. It was decided to build a new school house, which is to have two rooms and which is to be a graded school.
