Strobl, Virginia (1918 - 20 MAY 1957)
Mrs. Virginia Strobl, nee Blom (or Blum), passed away at Augustana Hospital, Chicago, on May 20th, 1957 at 9:15 a.m. at the age of 39 years. In the year of 1942 she married Louis Strobl.
Funeral services were conducted by Rev. Nielsen from the Nazareth Lutheran Church on May 23, at 3:30 p.m. Burial was made at the church cemetery. Pallbearers were Lester and Harry Bruckschlager, Fred and John Neidhold, and Edward and Ernest Cizek. Flower girls were Mrs. John Neidhold, Mrs. Fred Neidhold, Mrs. Otto Neimag, Mrs. Grant Anderson, Helga Anderson, Sharon Heideman, Margaret Rohland, Mrs. Eleanor Christensen, Mrs. Ed Cizik and Florence Peterson..
She is survived by her husband, one stepson, her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Hans Clausen, one sister, Mrs. Walter (Selma) Heideman, a niece Sharon and a nephew Wayne Heideman.
Friends and relatives from out of town were: Mr. and Mrs. Peter Blum, Hapton, Iowa; Mr. and Mrs. Harry Blum, Alexander, Iowa; Mrs. Ella Jensen, Coulter, Iowa; Mr. and Mrs. Soren Rasmussen, Des Moines, Iowa; Mr. and Mrs. Viggo Jensen, Minneapolis, Minn. Mr. and Mrs. Adolph Kuhnert, Aniewa, Wis., and Mr. and Mrs. William Diels of Medford, Wis.
