lunch program at Thorp Elementary. She was employed as a
receptionist and bookkeeper for Drs. Philip and Eleanore Jorgensen
until they moved to Michigan. She was a lifelong member of
St. Paul’s Lutheran Church.
After selling her home in 2003, she lived
independently at Morgan Plaza for four years, where she was
president of the Road Runners Club. At the age of 104, she
realized that she needed assistance and moved to Oakbrook Health
& Rehab in September 2007.
